1. Information We Collect
We collect limited information to facilitate the operation of our platform and provide you with a seamless user experience. The types of information we collect are as follows:
- 1a. Wallet Information: We collect your public wallet address solely for the purpose of processing transactions on the Solana blockchain. We do not collect or store private keys or seed phrases on our servers. You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys.
- 1b. User-Provided Information: When you interact with Gsync, you may provide information such as usernames, social media handles (e.g., Twitter, Telegram), or website links. This information is optional and used to enhance your profile visibility within the platform.
- 1c. Automatically Collected Data: We may collect non-identifiable data such as IP addresses, browser type, and device information for analytical purposes to improve our services. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you directly.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively to operate and enhance Gsync’s functionality. Specifically:
- 2a. Transaction Facilitation: Your public wallet address is used to execute token swaps and other blockchain transactions on the Solana network.
- 2b. Points System: We track your activities (e.g., swaps, referrals) to allocate $GP points, which can be redeemed for rewards within the platform.
- 2c. User Experience Enhancement: User-provided information, such as usernames and social links, may be displayed publicly to foster community engagement. Automatically collected data helps us analyze platform performance and user behavior to improve our services.
3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures
We prioritize your privacy and limit data sharing to the minimum necessary for platform operation:
- 3a. Blockchain Transactions: When you perform a transaction (e.g., token swap), your public wallet address is shared with Solana blockchain nodes as required to process the transaction. This is inherent to the decentralized nature of blockchain technology and is beyond our control.
- 3b. No Third-Party Marketing: We do not sell, trade, or share your information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
- 3c. Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or other legal processes, including in response to requests from governmental authorities or to comply with regulatory obligations.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy:
- 4a. Retention Period: Transaction data (e.g., wallet addresses used for swaps) is retained for a maximum of 12 months to comply with financial regulations and for auditing purposes. User-provided information (e.g., usernames, social links) is retained until you request its deletion.
- 4b. Deletion Requests: You may request the deletion of your user-provided information by contacting us (see Section 9). Note that transaction data on the Solana blockchain is immutable and cannot be deleted due to the decentralized nature of the technology.
5. Security Measures
We are committed to safeguarding your information through robust security practices:
- 5a. Technical Safeguards: We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption of data in transit (via HTTPS) and secure server configurations, to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
- 5b. User Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your wallet credentials, including private keys and seed phrases. Gsync will never request your private keys, and any such request should be considered fraudulent.
- 5c. Limitation of Liability: While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and shall not be liable for any breach beyond our reasonable control.
6. User Rights and Choices
We respect your rights regarding your personal information:
- 6a. Access and Correction: You may access and update your user-provided information (e.g., usernames, social links) directly within the platform or by contacting us (see Section 9).
- 6b. Opt-Out of Data Collection: You may choose not to provide optional information (e.g., social links). However, certain data (e.g., wallet addresses for transactions) is mandatory for platform functionality.
- 6c. EU/EEA Residents: If you are a resident of the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Compliance with Legal Obligations
Gsync operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations:
- 7a. Blockchain Compliance: As a decentralized platform on Solana, we adhere to the operational requirements of the blockchain, including transparency of public transaction data.
- 7b. Regulatory Compliance: We comply with financial regulations, such as anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) laws, where applicable. This may involve retaining transaction data for auditing purposes (see Section 4a).
- 7c. International Data Transfers: If you access Gsync from outside the jurisdiction of our servers, your data may be transferred internationally. We ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR for EU/EEA residents.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements:
- 8a. Notification of Changes: Significant updates will be communicated via a notice on our platform or through our official communication channels (e.g., email, if provided).
- 8b. Continued Use: Your continued use of Gsync after the updated Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
